Jazzy Scares ?!?

Hey Grandpa, We think you'll like this post. Make sure you watch all of it...oh, it rained hard today and washed it all off. Jazzy was VERY successful at the Corn Maze. She scared one girl's shoes right off. The owner of the maze had to go back in and get them for her... she was too scared to go back down the haunted trail on the river bottoms. Braden wore the dark cloak with his face painted just like Jazzy's. What a fun way to spend your Friday night!

TOUCHDOWN Braden !!

Braden has made a lot of touchdowns this year. He is very important on his team. He plays on the Freshman, Sophomore, and JV teams. If you can put your eyes on the dude in the white jersey closest to your screen, you'll see Braden run a short route into the endzone and catch the pass for the touchdown. We were playing Box Elder this week. All 4 highschool teams creamed them. The Varsity score was 49 to 0. Sorry Bees, the Stangs RULE this year.

Zucchini Tower??

So, most of you probably don't know that there is a lost art called "Zucchini Stacking". Kort was found down by the garden busily engaged in this act the other day. Was he bored? No, not really. He had been asked to go to the garden and pick what was ready. This is what he found! Guess it's been a few days since these monsters were harvested. Zucchini anyone?

The season ended with a Bang! We beat Ogden Valley 21-7. (yeah) Jon was such a great coach. I had people come up to me all the time at the games and say how glad they were that he was the coach.... and I had people stopping me and saying how much they WISHED their son had been able to play on Jon's team. Happy, successful season. ...and now it's over. Whew. (Braden still has another month of it for High School)

Cheerleader Kenzi - Rah, Rah !!

Kenzi is a "Go-MC!" girl here at the High School. Isn't she cute?? These videos and pics were shot during the Homecoming Parade and the Homecoming Game this past weekend.

Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby was the last Scout Activity Kort gets to go to. He is now in 11 year old scouts. He made a really FAST looking silver bullet car. It went fast,... but towards the end of the night we discovered that it couldn't be beat as long as it was racing BACKWARDS ! Too bad we didn't figure that out sooner. Trae also made a car. Jon always has the boys design their own car, cut it out, sand it, and paint it all by themselves. He helps them put the wheels on and gets it all greased up for them. It's always FUN.

Birthday Bowling

We hit Logan Lanes for Kort's Birthday activity. We had a good time... mom won. :)
