Lexi Is Back!!??!

I hope all of you know our song "The Too Many Horses Blues". Well,.... it's true - again. Lexi came back. Can you believe it? We accumulate horses as fast as rabbits can accumulate. Anyway, it's a long, long story. Braden should be able to sell her for more this time... keep you all updated. Sheesh.

Lexi is sold!

Braden broke her, trained her, and now he has sold her. He did a really good job. A super great family of horse riders from Heber City purchased "Lexi" last weekend. She'll be a good horse for the 15 year old girl who will be her main rider. Good job, guys!

So, Braden won Mr. Freshman MC at the school. It was quite a process. I wish I had more pics and videos. The camera just didn't do well in the dark. You can check out his talent on Youtube. Just go to: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=braden+fuller+mr+freshman+mc&aq=f or just type in his name on youtube. It's fun. He won some money and some school fame. You know, that's what it's all about. He had fun too.

The cute girl "Allie" who was Braden's sponsor wrote him a traditional cowboy toast in the form of cowboy poetry. She did a great job. The components to the pageant were: formal wear, casual wear (Braden was a 10 foot tall basketball player on stilts), slide show, interview, and talent. He was the best. But, I have to say that there was some creative fun happening all over the place that day! Good Job to ALL!

Wellsville Mile

Kort was a MUY fast runner at the annual Wellsville Mile. He took 3rd place of 800 or so. His time was 6 minutes 21 seconds. He was very proud and said it was his best week ever!

Fish Fish Fish Fish

The fish have arrived! Check out Jon's happy face. He couldn't even sleep the night before the fish were delivered. He has worked so hard around here to make this happen. I should have taken more photos of the before, during, and after. The boys are laying sod this week on all the mess the backhoe, skidloader, and preseeder have made. It's all smooth now and looking like a "park". Wow.

Rockin' with the missionares

The missionaries came over for dinner and found out about all of our musical "gear". Needless to say, they wanted to stay all night. It was fun.

Braden Runs!

Braden was a great runner this year for good 'ole Mountain Crest. He ran very fast all the time. He ran the 400, 100, anchor to the 400x relay, and he long jumped. He qualified for region in the 400 and in the long jump. He considered this to be really good for a lowly freshman.

Oh - and he took one of the first prizes for the 5k run -- (3.1 miles) he ran it in something like 18 minutes. He kept a 6 minute pace the whole time. He was proud to beat the cross country kids. They were jealous that he could run that well for not even practicing... (although the football and basketball coaches have him run non-stop ladders, etc.) GO BRADEN!

Egg Hunting - Johnson Style

This is the most excellent video... made just for Grandma and Grandpa J. in Sweden. You'll love it!!!

Sour Swedish Candy - LOVED IT!

The Easter Candy from Sweden was a hit. All the kids got a "sour" kick out of it. It was gone within about 2 minutes flat. What fun!!!!

Basketball Braden

Braden was on the Freshman Basketball team this year at Mountain Crest. He was a super star. We had fun watching him and the whole team grow.

Powder Ridge Weekend

Ahhh. This place was just what the doctor ordered. Oh, well, except for the part of the weekend where we got stuck going up the mountain at 1:00am. It's okay, the Sheriff came and rescued us at 2:00am and delivered us safely to our condo at the top -- the VERY top of the mountain. Whew. Skiing was awesome. In fact, I don't think we've EVER seen better powder in our entire lives! No joke!!!!!
The snow was still lik 12 feet deep. There were raccoons and weasles in our windowsill.

The pool was beyond all expectations. Warm and cozy and super fun.

We thought the signs on the doors were interesting. We did see a lot of wildlife...

The condo was the best and we ate a lot of strawberries this weekend.

Ski Weekend

My awesome boys. Powder Mountain, April 2009

While we were out for our Sunday walk (between conference sessions), Braden decided to climb a tree. ... it was a VERY large tree. All the skiiers whizzing by looked up at him and were shocked. One guy even thought he was a bear, or a very large porcupine. Funny.

Every Year around General Conference Time, we spend a weekend away at one of our favorite ski resorts. This year was absolutely fabulous. Of course, how could a ski weekend be anything but fabulous?????

SLC Half Marathon

Okay, so this pic is a bit fuzzy. It's cuz I'm too cheap to buy the big one. I think Julie said she'd come take pics of me at the St. George marathon in October... then it'll be documented for real! I ran really well... by-the-way. Yeah me!
